Structured Solutions has been awarded a contract by automotive textile manufacturer Borgstena Textiles N.A. to centralize and modernize it core information systems.

Borgstena's informaton systems were developed over a 20 year period and are used by Borgstena to manage its mission-critical production and sales operations. The system consists of individual MES, Financial, Sales and Inventory Management and EDI systems hosted on a mixed platform of AS/400, System 390, and Novell systems. The Borgstena system will be migrated to a modernised architecture consisting of, Oracle 8i and IFS Applications running on a Windows 2000 Network. The migration is schedule to be complete by June 15 2002.
